Retired secretary, met Hartmut one magical January night in 1980 at the Hotel Cervantes in Torremolinos, gave him my work phone number but when I returned back to work - they'd changed the telephone system and we had a new number. ??.
Linda's message to the world:
I do not know Hartmut's surname, I think he was at the hotel with colleagues from work, maybe a conference, I'm not sure. He stayed a few more days at the hotel, I went back to the UK the very next day. ??
I received a few lovely postcards from Hartmut but there was never an address on them so I couldn't reply. And then I moved house.
46 years on and I still remember him. A lovely German young man. I was 23, he will have maybe been a bit older ... not much .. 24/25/26.
Thanks for the memory, it has lived with me all these years. If only I'd got that surname!
